GROWTH MANAGEMENT IMPORTANT TO PAT

• Working with the Sheriff, Pat chaired a committee of township, village and city representatives to address the upgrading of the county dispatch system and 911 to meet the needs of a growing county . The County now has a state-of-the-art 911 system and a much improved dispatch service.
• Pat took the lead in bringing the township trustees together to discuss growth issues and determine how the County Commissioners can best continue their support of local officials in their efforts at managing growth. Suggestions will be discussed further by commissioners at budget time.
• Brought the County Human & Social Service Agencies together to address ongoing growth and funding issues that are common among their agencies to better serve Medina County residents.
• Increased the budget and staffing levels of the Medina County Planning Commission to better assist townships and villages in their planning efforts to balance growth.
